Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born January 31, 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo from the Showcase Television show Lost Girl. Silk is a Canadian actress who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay and Peter Silk both were professors. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. Silk is the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories are of attending rehearsals for plays as well as watching her mother do the do her job. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still in the midst of her childhood. The year 1997 was the time she earned a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least two early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto in her quest to act and improve, before moving she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first discovered at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors training. They got married in December 2009 after a civil wedding ceremony. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton, after the woman was converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in May 2016. Silk is known for her television role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by the Gemini Awards. In 2009, she was cast in the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the final season episode. The news was announced to the fans in a Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk announced on Twitter on 20 June 2013, that production had begun on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for Season 4 of the show. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the same-sex couple in Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples ever. E! Magazine declared that they were the top Television Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought an enormous online following on social media.
